And I recall seeing advertisements for the movie Mathilda based on still another Dahl book, but it never looked very interesting to me. ![]() We have also seen James and the Giant Peach, based on another Dahl book of that title, and I did read aloud to the boys the novelization of the movie (my opinion of novelizations of movies based on books is, “Why bother?” when you can read the original book!
